If Romeo's gonna announce at the McD's All-American game, that can only mean one thing -- he's going to play in B-town. The McD's game is in Atlanta, which is the site of our latest, greatest triumph -- our 2002 Final Four appearance. Also, what is McD's most famous menu item? The Big Mac. And where did Big Mac (George McGinnis) play college ball? At IU. Want more? Atlanta is in Georgia. The governor of that state is named Deal. Mark Deal is an IU assistant athletic director whose father, Russ, captained IU's 1945 football team, which went undefeated and won the Big Ten. When you break it all down scientifically, Romeo is sending signals that his decision is made: It's IU, baby.

National top-five prospect Romeo Langford and New Albany are playing at Jennings County tonight.  Text I received: "Jennings County’s student section theme is IU. ... Like a black out, red out, it’s an IU out."

I know it’s small and probably means absolutely nothing, but I love that in the Peegs article Tim Langford kept saying Archie “will” in talking about him coaching Romeo. He didn’t say would, he said will. Even if it’s subconscious I feel like it’s a good sign that the Langford’s have bought into the idea of Archie being their sons coach.

To be fair, Rabjohns was the one going down to Nashville and doing all the stories with Darius and Winston Garland that made it sound like he was an IU lock.  Right before he announced for Vandy.  I'm not getting played again.  I sure hope we get him though.

I know you're post is sarcastic but I don't think an announcement at the MCD game favors IU.  I doubt he'd announce right in front of Garland and Shittu that he's heading elsewhere.
