(2018) SG Romeo Langford - INDIANA HOOSIERS

Recommended Posts

Final: New Albany 85, Jeffersonville 61. Romeo Langford finished with 33 points

I am pretty sure Jeffersonville was undefeated heading into this game, so this is an impressive dominating game for Romeo. Doesn’t NA play at Bankers Life tomorrow too?

Umm.. it's for sure a good win. Maybe even a really good win, but it's not overly surprising. NA matches Jeff's athleticism, and I don't particularly know if Jeff is well coached, while NA most definitely is. Similar styles, but NA does it better as of now... but again it is for sure a good win.

Fox Sports Indiana will televise the New Albany vs. Silver Creek game being played at Bankers Life; noon tipoff.

With his 33 points Friday night Langford moved into 11th-place on the state's all-time scoring list. He trails Marion's James Blackmon Jr. by 17 entering Saturday's game vs. Silver Creek.

No doubt Romeo is a stud who would help so much in so many different ways.  I just don't want us to be all butt hurt if he goes elsewhere.  If he does go elsewhere, that just means we hafta toughen up and go even harder at these kids.  Can't feel defeated.  It has to get u even more motivated to not lose the next one.  Like we expect from our team, coaches gotta man up and find a way to win no matter what.

The 35 point performance brings Langford’s career scoring total to 2391. With the performance today Langford passes James Blackmon Jr. and sits 10th on the all time scoring list in the state of Indiana.  Only needs to score 29 more points to pass Alan Henderson.

Looked at his recent interview and I would say he is going to kansas imo. Sadly I don't think we are in it anymore and probably a distant third place. Had he of been a 2019 player things may have been different.
