The Kentucky guy that had picked us in the crystal balls pick seems to have disappeared.

Didnt know you could delete a pick only change it. Weird.

If you search for his name on 247 he still has a page with all of his football and basketball picks. It still shows Romeo to IU and Garland to Vandy. I'm wondering with the newly merged CBS/Scout if they are no longer allowing outside pickers. Marcum manages the Kentucky SBNation blog, which is a Vox company and not affiliated with CBS or Scout. Just my guess though.

I'm definitely following this recruiting closely.  But last year I probably got a little too invested in the Kris Wilkes recruitment, and it sucked when he signed with Under Armour.  Err, with UCLA.  I think it's awesome that we're in the top 2 or 3.  But it really feels like Romeo and his folks are going to be tight lipped about this whole thing.  He doesn't play up his celebrity on Twitter, and he really doesn't give too many interviews.  I think it is huge that IU is driving distance, as are many of the Big Ten games we'll play.  That would not be the case with Louisville or Kansas.  I also really think that Archie and his unassuming demeanor will be a boon.  It seems to jive with Romeo's way.

Here's a question.  When was the last year IU didn't have a 5 star on the team?  2010 I think, but that team had Oladipo and Watford (ranked #35).

This year's team doesn't have a 5 star. I think Rob (49) and De'ron (41) are our 2 highest rated coming out of high school.

As tight lipped as Romeo has been it wouldn't surprise me to see Texas become a contender. I expect a school to come out of nowhere. Also people take his quietness as him being shy and that is the wrong impression. His quietness is a humble confidence. Extremely confident and the "man" part is why I have said I believe he comes here for awhile. He seems like the kid who wants to run the team not play with a bunch of guys just as good as him. U of L has a lot of talent on their team. We have enough that with him we could be very good. This Texas thing is still bothering me though lol. Came out of nowhere.

Well, Alford had Schilling but we have him now so maybe we land the big fish.

I wanted Wiseman for '19 but during the game on tv they said he wants UCLA and USC to offer and go after him harder  so I dont think we get him, but Watford and Brooks would be HUGE. I think we end up taking 4 from that class. Morgan, Romeo, Davis and a transfer.

I don't think Morgan and Davis go pro. That would require a tremendous amount of improvement in just one year. Keep one scholly for Romeo at a minimum and preferably save the other for 2019.

Morgan will have graduated by 2019

Contrary to some earlier posts, it appears that pUKe is still in the mix.

Brian Snow‏ @BSnowScout

Per his father Romeo Langford is considering UK, Louisville, Indiana, UCLA, Kansas, Vandy, and UNC
