When is the last time Indiana won a recruiting battle with the likes of Kentucky, Duke, UNC, Michigan State, Kansas, UCLA, etc., for a top three player in the country? All of these schools are all in the mix for Langford. Just don't see him staying in state and playing for the home town school. If he's one and done, he's going to be looking for the best chance to win a Championship, which won't be at Indiana. Quote

We've won a few (Zeller, Blackmon, Ferrell, Bryant), and lost at least a few (Lyles, Pinson, Harris, etc). Of course, UNC, Duke, UK, etc have also lost more than a few battles for five star players. And that's okay too. Moral of the story? Overgeneralizing on any particular player's interest in IUBB is not especially indicative of that player's intentions. That was 10-11 years ago and a completely different situation and a completely different coaching/recruiting staff. He had already committed to Illinois, so most other schools had backed off. Quote
biteoftheapple Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 JBJ is also an example. He was very high on Kentucky, he was a burger boy. Quote
