I just don't understand how u can be in the bonus with 12 min left in the game and shoot 4 3s in a row. Does the coach or your senior point guard not say hey let's put pressure on them to play perfect defense or we are going to the line for fts. Guess I miss the old Iu teams that got in the bonus and just made bee line to foul line the rest of half or game

TW should not be handling the ball up top, especially near the end of shot clock. When he does have the ball, for cryin' out loud, try something other than driving into the entire opposing team in the lane.

It's this type of game, just like against Wisconsin and Minnesota, where shots are not falling and defense is lacking, that this team misses Blackmon. JBJ has the most consistent long range shooting, and his play could have stretched defenses and helped the Hoosiers out score the opponent. The Hoosiers may be better defensively without JBJ, but they are definitely better offensively with him.

how many road games did jbj shoot the ball good? Not many that I remember. I agree that Troy with ball up top doesn't help cuz he does not know how to pull up for a 15 ft jumper

it is fair at this point to assume crean doesn't prepare the same for terrible teams as he does for big games. Does not mean he doesn't but it is a fair argument imo

Always the same reasons.  More turnovers than assists?  Check.   Poor shot selection?  Check.  Too reliant on the 3-pointer? (more than half our shots)  Check.   Yogi a poor shooting night?  Check.  Not much offensive movement?  Check.

 

There was a huge "OG love" thread the other day...kid's still a freshman.  Did next to nothing.  Hartman was awful.   Nobody "played well."   We just sort of showed up, looked like we took a team for granted.   Didn't play with any urgency, and got beat by a team that has less than half the on-paper talent we do.  

 

This pattern is maddeningly predictable.   And if the pattern holds and Indiana gets a first round loss and 4th/5th place Big Ten finish, I'd love to know how Crean has done enough to keep his job.  By what measure?

I am not a big Cream fan but just do not think he sleeps in a hammock when we play bad teams.

Dude i don't know. We seem to most of the time be up for the big games and then struggle with the bottom feeders. Yeah it is frustrating! Our team should know by now that they can't just go through the motions! you got to bring it every night!

just don't base it off this season alone and I can see people thinking that way. I don't believe it like I said but we do seem to play better in big games and lose to some terrible teams

Yeah I believe you jumped on that OG swagger wagon the other day as well. All be it after he had performed very well multiple times.

Crean did just enough to keep his job this year. Even with a collapse.

Not my opinion but that is how it's going to work out.

I don't think he has. Obviously we have a huge game against Iowa upcoming, so time will tell. However, if we go on a skid, finish outside the top 2-3, and then get bounced from tourney early, he'll struggle to keep his job(rightfully so).

With regards to this game, I dunno if it was coaching or not, but how can a team come out so careless?? Especially after Yogi admitted they weren't focused after the Minnesota game. Even if CTC didn't have them ready, where's Yogi's senior leadership?

Please find someone else to stalk.  My comments about him (OG) have been consistent for 9 months, and you can easily look them up.  The only post I made in that thread was calling you out for this little gem "I saw great things in OG early on and yelled from the mountain top about them! I am very happy he is playing how I thought he would! I recall some super genius some where cutting him down for lack of upper body strength.....what a joke! Great that OG is proving the haters WRONG! OG is a great piece to this TEAM."

Actually, no.  Your grammar is not correct.  You should have had some form of punctuation after "here," "man," and "correct."  Also, use of "ok" in a sentence is incorrect.  It's "okay" in word form.  But who's judging you?   You asked, after all.  Amazingly, your spelling was pretty good!  Congratulations!

 

Funny how you don't live here, but find time to post 560 times (only about 60 less than me)  and seem to always throw in little insults, but never reply when you're called out.  Like I said, go stalk somebody else and get back to this wonderful life of yours.   And yes.  You were wrong.   Both about OG as a high school kid and about my participation in the thread about him.  Anything else?
