And not choosing a place because of the hopes of AF or TJD to play alongside him. That was my first guess too.

We shall see. I’ve had a whole lot of guesses in my life, and some have turned out to be correct while others haven’t. Life’s full of mysteries and surprises.

In fairness, it could simply mean it’s time to focus on himself and the decision ahead of him.

And, yet again, “it’s time to be selfish” could also mean its time to focus exclusively on what he wants and not try to satisfy mom and pops.

Who knows? I certainly don’t. I’m really happy to have TJD and Franklin coming next year. I hope Race and Hunter can have a healthy season next year, and I hope Deron stays another year as well. Add Keion and I’m fully stoked. 

EDIT: I really should read through to the end of threads before replying to a comment and then realizing after it’s too late that all my thoughts have already been stated.

And furthermore, all my comments were made under the assumption that Jr made the tweet and not Sr. I’m with my brother, just name your kid a different name than your own...because it confuses the living s—t out of people.

Even though I read his comment about time to be selfish in favor of UK, the #scholarshipsovrchampionships reads in favor of IU because we prioritized Keion with UK prioritizing champions and recruiting over him.

Mom and Brooks Jr want IU and Brooks Sr wants UK. Final decision I don’t believe has been mad this could very well be a Romeo situation with a lot of smoke but no final decision until the day of the announcement.

Yes, I'm guilty. You're absolutely right.  Although, much of this thread (and threads for other recruits) are spent speculating.  I'll wait it out quietly from here on out.

Let's all hope that Sr. gives his approval over the next few days or then there could be some cause for concern but I think Jr's love for IU and the state of Indiana wins out.

I did not mean to imply that we, as fans, shouldn't or can't speculate what will happen.  Hell, that's half the fun of recruiting.  However, there are an ENDLESS number of possibilities that these tweets/hashtags could imply since they do not come from the player himself.

Seems to me like this would be pro-IU, not against.
