yogisballin Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 RoJo has been a fave of mine since his arrival. Esp since I heard about his workouts in VA with Ben Wallace. Like his game and u can tell he hits the weight room. rae vogel 1 Quote

Bobman1 Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Doesn't turn it over, doesn't take stupid shots, plays good defense, cares about the fundamentals, cares A LOT about the team, doesn't give up...... That's what you look for in a player. Quote

HoosierAloha Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 Not to rain on RoJo's parade but he turns it over at a higher rate than most realize. He's just a little behind Troy. Troy - 23.4 RoJo - 22.9 He's definitely stepped up this season and that outside shot has been money. Quote

JaybobHoosier Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 RoJo is one of my favorite players, and has really came along. RoJo is good for about 2 really bad passes a game, but players very good besides that. Very glad to have him. He will be a good leader his last two years here. Napleshoosier and HoosierAloha 2 Quote

MartintheMopMan Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 Also, his assist to turnover ratio is nearly twice as good as Troy's The McNeese State game helped there too. I really wish I had the numbers all calculated for me prior to the game and post. I'm pretty curious how much that single game boosted him. 4 assists to 0 TOs can't hurt. And hurt Troy, 3 assists to 4 turnovers that game. Though, don't get me wrong. He's had a better assist to turnover ratio all year. Even when he had a worse turnover percentage than Troy. Quote

Crimson and Cream Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 He carried us in the first half, Troy (along with some help from Hartman, OG, and Yogi) led the way in the 2nd. Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Way to go RoJo! Great defense to go along with his great offensive game today. Quote
LockdownD Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 There's been a lot of discussion about leadership. Personally, I like a player that leads by example. RoJo has shown that he is going to do what the team needs. I think he expects it from the rest of the team. When he starts demanding it of his teammates, we'll have the leader that this team needs. He plays in control and has a "smoothness" look to his game. It's refreshing Str8Hoosiers, Class of '66 Old Fart and LockdownD 3 Quote
