Maryland is only successful (more than half the distance to the first down on first and second and getting the first on third and fourth) on 35% of their downs over the year. They've been successful around 70% this game. They have run with success almost 100%. Their "failed" plays have all been incomplete passes.

 

How can this defense practice against one of the best RBs in FBS every single day and still not understand how to defend the run?

Let's see. Lose best RB in conference on first series, have to try field goal, MD fumbles out of bounds, miss big pass play for first down because toe is on line. Sounds like the IU football I know and love.
