I hadn't previously heard anything (not that I follow PU)....

Painter's been taking about it for a little over a week I think. Won't specify, just kept saying he isn't suspended yet, just has issues to take care of.

Amen. Prayers to Kyle Kuric and his family.  I remember watching him shoot jumpers at the Evansville Basketball Academy when my son was playing there. Kyle had a sweet stroke and was a good player that worked his way from walk-on to a regular for UL.  Keep fighting Kyle!

Everything I read indicated he will be. Terrible for Maryland, you hate to have that happen at all, much less the last practice before the season opener.

Tough situation for Maryland.  We've been there. I still think about what might have been with a healthy Maurice Creek. The Wiley injury will certainly affect Maryland's depth but they will still field an awesome starting 5.

 How much better would the 2013 squad have been with a healthy Derick Elston ?

I think his health issues along with the lack of production from the movement, sans Yogi really hurt that squads depth.

 Hate to hear about Wiley's injury, but as you said Maryland is still going to be a very good team.

Not sure where to put this but hopefully here is fine. Seventh Woods verbals to North Carolina....as expected. I'm retiring from feeling bad for the kids who verbal to a school knowing full well penalties have a strong likelihood of coming and complain about it when they do.

actually his crystal ball was 80%South Carolina (including Meyer) 20% for north carolina so not expected by most in the industry
