GOP Debate...

Recommended Posts

I find the Hillary hate from both sides interesting. I'm a mostly conservative and have never liked the Clintons but I said in 2008 Hillary was the much lesser evil vs Obama and I believe it even more today. She could very well again be the better candidate depending on who the Dems throw in the ring.

When I took it they labeled me a Centrist. I never knew what to call my political views before! Wahoo for being a Centrist!!!

I prefer my friend's tag of "Moderate Extremist" - Basically he has views that support both sides of the aisle, but he feels super passionately about them.

Even Mrs. Rubio and Mrs. Santorum don't agree on this quiz with their husbands that much!

(LOL)

I apparently side with the Constitution Party. Whatever the hell that is lol.

Basically I'm republican on the issues that matter to the country and economy and Democrat on social issues and other things that don't really make a difference in our lives lol

I can't help but think that Trump is just playing along. Personally, I can't see him as a republican or a conservative. Deep down I fear that he's gonna run 3rd party and hand the election to Hillary. Part of me thinks that he's playing a shill to that end. Call me cynical, but that's how I see it.

I like Ben Carson, but he has virtually no chance. I relate more closely with Cruz and Rubio. Not a fan of Jeb, Walker or Huckabee, and Rand Paul is just different - not sure what I yet think of him. I'd love to see Carly Fiorina in the mix after her "JV" debate and follow up with Chris Matthews.

My findings in the poll:

Rick Santorum 96%

Ted Cruz 94%

Ben Carson 94%

I love me some Carson lol. "I'm the only one to separate Siamese twins" lol

See how politically incorrect he is? They are "conjoined twins".   :scratchhead:    Can't imagine that the PC police missed that one. But I really like him... if he only had a real chance.

I retook the quiz using the candidate choices.

"Your political beliefs would be considered moderately Right-Wing Libertarian on an ideological scale, meaning you tend to support policies that promote free market capitalism and smaller government."

Seems about right.

Slightly right wing centrist Libertarian. Nailed me pretty good.

Paul 83%

Cruz 79%

Rubio 74%

Walker 73%

Carson 70%

Some of these questions in these quizzes just never work for me. As in,

Should the federal government allow states to fly the confederate flag?

Properly put, the question is: Should any state allow the federal government to tell them, or any other state, what kind of flag they can fly?

I got moderately left wing.  Probably a little more moderate than it showed, but all in all fairly accurate.

Sanders 75%

Clinton 69%

Huckabee 62%

Trump second to last at 37%, I'm surprised he's that high because he'd be an unmitigated disaster.

Frankly I don't have a problem with the confederate flag being banned.  That flag will always carry the connotation of the darkest period in our history, no matter how much people want to call it a symbol of pride.  Even Germany banned the swastika even though that was a sacred symbol of well-being used by multiple cultures for thousands of years before Hitler got his hands on it.
