Man this should be fun. I loooove watching Baker and VanVleet.

Liked them the first time I saw them this year, which happened to be their loss at Utah. Just could tell that they really knew how to play basketball. Same thing when they played UNI.

Hoping that we see the best out of all four: Yogi, VanVleet, Baker and Blackmon.

Here's my analysis:
If Indiana shows up, IU advances.
If Indiana doesn't, WSU advances.
I don't care who the opponent is all year, you could tell the outcome based on which Indiana team showed up. Will be no different here.

I agree other than the B1G semi final. We played hard, just the results didn't come. Sad.

Troy could have a monster of a game. I'm assuming the shockers' first task will be to stop Yogi/JBJ/Rojo and given that there's no paint presence, Troy could do some nasty things.

I saw WSU in person when they played ISU in Terre Haute. They definitely are not big but they are strong. Should be a good test for our Hoosiers. I actually believe we have the advantage down low. The thing about the Shockers is they don't beat themselves.

They don't beat themselves and we normally beat ourselves. Isn't a good recipe for success :)

Just got back from Shockers forum (Thanks Hoosier41) & I hate them. I really really hate them. They seem to have the little brother syndrome to Kansas as Purdue does to us. I've checked many forum boards (UK, Purdue, Maryland, Michigan) and WSU's cockiness and lack of basketball intelligence really aggravated me. Hopefully we pull this one out for my ego and to take them back down to the mid major level they're at. I'd lLOVE for them to join the B1G or B12 and consistently play with the big boys and not Evansville & Illinois state (sorry nick).

Yea I know that's what this year has been for Stan but that doesn't mean it'll be the same here. We need his defense this game, without a doubt. I think if he comes in and plays well on that end and stays under control on offense to start, his confidence can soar. If that happens maybe he can start finishing those shots he has been missing this year. Not saying I am 100% sure he plays well, but it seems like the perfect time for good Stan to come out.
