I hadn't seen anything until my dad told me what the source said today. I apologize if that was "old" news. I was told that he would be going there to coach basketball. He's bound to still coach somewhere no matter how much we dislike him.

Oh, no I didn't take it the wrong way. I genuinely was concerned that this was old news because a lot of things are beat to death on here, and I didn't want to contribute to that

I think the Seton Hall fans are right. He'd do well there. Alabama, not as much. Plus, he could reunite with Isaiah Whitehead. It could be his next Oladipo/Wade product.

 

I think he would do well in the SEC.  He could get all of his athletes and with a lot less pressure might be able to develop them enough to land in the tourney 1/2 out of 4/5 years.  The 100 Bama basketball fans would love that.

Seton Hall is a much better destination for Crean and his family than Alabama. I can see them being comfortable and successful there.

 

I just hope Crean doesn't take Chuck and his NY/NJ recruiting ties with him.

I've found that it's a lot easier on myself emotionally if I don't read into anything involving demeanor. You just never know what someone is really thinking.

I agree. While I don't think he has developed into the top shelf coach we need at IU, I don't think he is the slobbering fool many make him out to be.

Not to derail the thread but wouldn't we be playing Minnesota? While we are tied with Illinois, IU has the tie breaker through winning the only head to head between each team. Right?
