I did play soccer growing up F'yeah I would take a WC over most other championships.

Not sure why World Cup is referenced throughout this thread but will I get kicked off the site if I admit in a choice between an IU National Title and a US World Cup title I probably am taking the World Cup?

I mean a US World Cup victory would be a week long party throughout the country. That'd be a damn good time.

Idk why we're making fun of soccer as if its not an intense sport. There was literally a game where fans decapitated a referee during the game. I also think that pie is better than cupcakes, maybe even a nice danish but that's just me.

Not true.  Pretty much every town square in every major city in the US had a huge watch party for the US games in this World Cup.  If we were in the final everyone would be tuned in.
