Spalding is long. I always liked Donovan Mitchell. Both 5th years are really good. UL hit some home runs for that recruiting class.

Thomas Bryant coming to iu will push holt out of the spot he had played this whole year, which was being the guy to guard the big men in defense. I think hilt really shines in this spot and can't really play anywhere else, so I think he might actually regress this next year like Stanford Robinson because of thomas Bryant

In regards to the two year comments... It's the smart move to make. Come in talking about one and done and you are a failure if you stay for year 2.

Come in talking 2 years and leave after one then you had a hell of a season. Stay for 2 and no big deal at all, you called it.

Anyone who ever says they are going to be one and done is just adding extra pressure they don't need.

I'd love to be dead wrong, but Emmit will now need to focus on learning how to defend a different position than he had learned last year. Last year, he was defending the 5. This year he will defend the 4 mostly.
And I change my mind about him regressing. I don't think there is any way for him to regress. The only path is upward for holt. It's not like he could have a slump year shooting, because he never shot the ball last year, or did anything except hustle, rebound, and play intense defense!
Plus, we might see him grow another inch, who knows.

yep and that's the shame! He had a great freshman year by most standards. I just hope he actually works to improve his weaknesses. I am sure he will.
