Syracuse still seems pretty confident. I'm not getting my hopes up until he signs.

Their boards are still ridiculously optimistic.

They'd posted 30 page on him since my last update so it was a lot. But, they spent a while making fun of Tom Crean. And of Yogi. And discussing if they have room for TB. They think he's still just waiting to commit to them and hasn't for any of the following reasons.

 

1. He wants to commit in NY

2. He has to wait until the written appeal is filed

3. Staff have told him to deny they've been in contact with him and to wait because of NCAA issues if he were truthful
4. Looking to see how Kentucky shakes out

 

They think his comments about IU recently reek of our cloying desperation and make us even less attractive to him and that anyone who says we're in good shape is just being kept in the dark because he already knows he is going to SU.

He looks to the lower right which is an indicator that he is considering them the most. I knew my interrogator skills would help me someday. Although, I still get the feeling he is plan B for UK and is considering waiting on that.  I further think he is slightly annoyed he is a plan B and that may help us in the long run.

I always heard that when a person looks down and to the right it was an indication they are lying. Is that not right?

LOL! It's true about the eye movements. There are other indicators of truth that you look for too. In all honesty, I really did some interrogations back in the day but never used the eye movement thingie. Usually, the dudes / dudettes i "had conversations with" were trained in counter-interrogation techniques and you had to use other indicators.

When I picture Richardson all I can see is him wearing that tshirt with pot leaves on it that he wore on his visit to IU
