“He will come back but it’s 50-50 as to the level of his return whether he’ll be the same as he was pre-injury,” New York Chiropractor, Dr. Craig Fishel told Adam Zagoria on Tuesday. “That is most likely not going to happen, probably 90% of himself and subject to re-injury and residual problems ongoing.”

Huge blow to Mizzou and sucks for Porter Jr and for college basketball. He is a dynamic, fun player to watch. Hope he comes back the same. He should still be a top 3 pick in the NBA draft if all goes well so I doubt we see him playing in college again.

Not sure how he still has a chance at being a top 3 pick.... If I were an NBA exec I would be very cautious especially with the medical prognosis that at best 90% of his former ability and subject to re-injury and residual problems ongoing. That seems like a lot of risk vs reward? I know he was supposed to be good, and he is young so could heal up fine but if I am an exec I want him to show me by playing 1 more season in college.

That’s why I don’t always agree with NBA teams drafting on potential instead of proven ability. I know it goes both ways but I would have to think long and hard before drafting a player coming off an injury

College reffing is so frustrating. Ever since Freddie got call for the foul on a screen because his feet were wider than his shoulder I have been paying attention to other teams. Currently watching the Texas A&M bigs setting screens with their legs out wayyyy past shoulder width.

Tony Carr is having a really good start to the college basketball season. He has 21 at half. A&M up 2. For me penn st looks better then northwestern

Northwestern can't or won't defend. They're just kind of there. If they start defending they're easily a tourney team.

If you want to watch a really good mid major team go to the SEC network. UT-Arlington will be a dangerous team if they get in the tourney in March
