Huge recruiting upset for Arizona today. Could DeAndre Ayton pull a Terrance Ferguson? This doesn't feel over.

There's a podcast from CBS sports Eye on College Basketball, where they discuss Ayton and Bagley. Basically, both have some possible issues that could come up in regards to NCAA eligibility.

Calipari regarding upcoming recruiting session.

“So I gotta go and just hit three states in one day. We’re not recruiting that many kids. I think it’s eight or nine kids. But I gotta hit ’em all within the first four or five days.”

Says this about Waters.

Tremont Waters (Connecticut)

Scout.com ranking: No. 36

Background: Waters — a 5-11 point guard — received offers from UK and Duke during the summer but appears to be a backup plan for those schools. Whether or not Calipari visits Waters over the next few days will be telling.

Top competition?: Indiana — The Hoosiers have claimed front-runner status over the past few weeks.

I just watched the 93 Hoosiers win by one against the Fab Five at Michigan on YouTube. UM's last possession for the win was snuffed by a Cheaney partial block of a Juwan Howard jumper, Weber gets the rebound five feet from the basket, and Alan Henderson completely swats away his follow shot.

Hoosiers.

I remember that game well. Great ending! IU went 3-1 against the Fab Five (before all their games got vacated)

If local laws disregard the well being of the student athletes then frankly I think the NCAA has the right and obligation to protect the athletes.

Sports are a platform for individuals to comment on politics and social injustices. There's nothing sad about the fact that everyone, individuals and organizations, has the freedom to take a stand against something they don't believe in. It'd be a sad world where individuals could not express their views and speak out against perceived injustice.

Agree with their views or not, it's cool to not be North Korea. IMHO

Back to the college basketball thread now that Hova has taken the radical stance that it's cool to not be like North Korea, unless someone wants to take the "North Korea is cool" stance! Lol

Their citizens may not complain much, but that's probably a product of getting beheaded if they do complain.
