Walking Boot of Doom Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 In your opinion he's a cheater. But fact throws that opinion away. Wait until it is proven first. So why were his victories and final fours at UMass and Memphis vacated? Stuhoo and Crimson and Cream 2 Quote
HoosierAloha Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 So why were his victories and final fours at UMass and Memphis vacated? Facts and other stuff like that... Regardless if he had knowledge or not the program he was in charge of was found to have major NCAA infractions. That's a fact jack! Tom White, Walking Boot of Doom and Class of '66 Old Fart 3 Quote
Uspshoosier Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 How have they won? By taking advantage of the system in front of them.the Kentucky way I prefer the Indiana way. I have no problem if you want a watch a program win that way but just because you feel that way doesn't mean I want to watch a team go in that direction. If that ever happened I would have a tough choice ahead of me either I keep watching or I move on a root for someone else Quote
X-Hoosier Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 So why were his victories and final fours at UMass and Memphis vacated?the schools were. The NCAA still recognize them as wins on his record. But they dont when it comes to the schools. Quote

Popular Post JSHoosier Posted February 25, 2016 Popular Post Posted February 25, 2016 I think that comes more out of hatred and jealousy. And not just looking at what he's done there. And I know "he cheats and blah blah blah". He's never actually been caught for anything. He was found to have no knowledge when it came to Camby and Rose. Facts are facts. He's the greatest recruiter ever. And he's a good coach. A bad coach would never be able to handle the ego's he has to. If he didn't have any knowledge of what was happening in his program then he's an incompetent supervisor. I don't believe for one second that he didn't see Rose's cousin on the plane either. He's not stupid, he separates himself enough to have plausible deniability. Let's not forget the NCAA is entirely corrupt and just competent enough to sometimes be dangerous (while other times they couldn't find their @$$ with a mirror on a stick). Cite me something other than the NCAA's ruling as a fact he had no knowledge. This is the same organization that has yet to punish UNC when there has been overwhelming factual evidence of misconduct with their academics. Five Prime 1 Quote

That was 20 years of academic fraud within the athletics program. Quote

Where there's smoke there is usually fire. You'd think so. But coaches can't know everything. We'd still have Perea, Davis and Holt on the team if they did right? Louisville would be eligible for the tourney as well? It is asking too much of a coach to know everything little thing that goes on. That is a huge difficultly for college coaches. Quote
