Honkyman Posted November 29, 2019 Posted November 29, 2019 No matter what happens against Marquette, Maryland will be well prepared for the rigors of the Big 10 schedule. Quote
Josh Posted November 29, 2019 Posted November 29, 2019 With Louisville, Michigan and Ohio State earning their way into high ranks earlier than we did, can I please have a sunshine pumper tell me again how anybody who thought we should expect similar be deemed "need it now" person? Crimson and Cream Posted November 30, 2019 Posted November 30, 2019 Mike Watkins is a force. Him and Lamar Stevens could win a lot of games in the Big Ten. Quote

Happy Drunksgiving :) It’s the difference between a coach inheriting Jon Teske at center and Simpson at point versus inheriting McSwain at center and Newkirk at point. And Archie went 9-9 in conference with his first team. Walking Boot of Doom, woodenshoemanHoosierfan, Hollywood Mike Miranda and 11 others 12 2 Quote

I’m guessing by using the phrase sunshine pumper you are just frustrated and are fishing a little bit trying to get a response. You could of just said can i please have someone tell me again instead of “can I please have a pumper of sunshine tell me again”. HoosierAloha Posted November 30, 2019 Posted November 30, 2019 Hot take: FSU will be called for multiple traveling violations in Assembly Hall. They had about three on one possession against Tennessee and zero were called. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mamasa and BGVille Hoosierfan 2 Quote

Happy Drunksgiving :)If this is the depth of your ability to understand the different situations you listed, then there is no way anyone can have a legitimate conversation with you. I will honestly say I’m not labeling Howard a success nor failure until year three or four when we see him recruiting and building his own team. What I can say is that he’s off to a helluva a start and this Michigan team is scary. And Thanksgiving was yesterday so no passes for drunkenness. Josh and thebigweave 2 Quote

To be fair I can name multiple posters that were disappointed because of the first season. Which is their right to be disappointed. Yesterday was the day to eat boatloads of gravy, today is the day to finish the leftover liquor from the guests. But still, yeah. WayneFleekHoosier Posted November 30, 2019 Posted November 30, 2019 Yeah, it’s true. We can make excuses with the best of them. Why else would Indiana still have a top 10 program (financially/fan support) otherwise. Just like Crean’s first three seasons. Louisville just went through the basketball scandal of the half century and look at them now. That’s on administration, coach, and others. Howard didn’t inherit a team of scrubs but he also didn’t inherit any sure fire nba guys either. They are just solid from 1-8 and I hope IU turns out to be as well once we start playing legitimate teams here soon. This bigten seems to be very lopsided with OSU, UM , MU and maybe MSU at the top and then a million question marks there after. No reason IU can’t be 5th place behind those 4. Will seeSent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Uspshoosier 1 Quote

He might not inherited an NBA guy but he did inherit a bunch of upper class-men from a winning program that are good college players. Livers and Simpson both started in the national title game against Nova. Not a bad core to have for your first year of coaching Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app MikeRoberts 1 Quote
