@JonRothstein
Not sure if I've ever seen a season where rankings are more meaningless in college basketball. Polls will fluctuate all season long.

I was saying in another thread I didn't think there was much separation between teams in 15-40 range. Looks like Jon agrees

agree I said recently. If we leave 2-1 from Maui and 13-2, we would be ranked in top 10. As it stands, we are 12-3, same team, and unranked. I think unranked is appropriate but 15-50 and 50-100 closer than perceived.

Colorado wins an entertaining game at Stanford. Colorado is an under the radar team that people might not know about. Only losses are on road to Iowa st, smu, and California

I think you could even stretch it further and say between the top teams there isnt much separation. Lots of upsets this year and each big team has its own set of holes and weaknesses. Makes for an exciting season of college basketball

Im excited for the big boy matchup tonight with Oklahoma at Kansas. This is a must watch for hoops junkies. i love the fact that these 2 teams are top 5 and have gone about it different ways. Kansas has so much talent that they can afford to play 2 five star kids just 10 min each and still smack Baylor around. They have developed talent over 4 years as well (Ellis and mason) but most recognize Kansas with 5 star players.

Oklahoma on the other hand has gotten to be top 5 without a single starter that was a top 100 recruit. Kruger has done an excellent job developing players (so has self).
Oklahoma has the seniors you see at mid major schools that make a run in the tourney. I think Kansas wins at home but hopefully it will be close.

So far we are seen as a 9 which is to be expected. IMO the highest you could ever see us is a 4/5. Due to all the upsets this year. The lowest is obvious. We just have to keep winning the games we are expected to.

Here is another bracketology by Jerry Palm who has us in the first 4 out category. I like comparing all of the available bracketologist just to see how different each evaluates a resume

Bryce Johnson is having himself a game for North Carolina, he has 32 pt and 18 Rebs with 8 min to go

Working on a 40-20 now. Last I saw was 37 and 21.

Edit: 37 and 23 with 1:00 left. It's 102-90 UNC. Helllloooo new rules.
