There are a lot more reasons than that.
My buddy has a fetish where he bites women in the moment.
Some murderers bite their victims out of a primal fit.
Some attackers bite when they feel their appendages are losing.
Some psychos like the taste of blood.
There are many more reasons (none of which are good)
I'm sorry, but you're flat wrong here.
Fair enough

The one thing I was a little surprised with was that Texas went out of their way to indicate that his pay would be suspended until the investigation was over.  They may well intend to try to keep him but it seems like they are looking to at least 'put themselves on the fence' in case the charges or details 'push' them over.

If the report of bite marks, bruises etc. holds up, I can't see UT keeping him, that's seriously disgusting stuff

Marv Albert comes to mind.

FWIW, in one study from 2012, there were around 42,000 cases in the U.S. in which bite wounds from another person were treated in emergency rooms (these don't include accidental biting cases).  Another study from Ireland found most of the bite assaults there occurred in conjunction with 'alcohol fueled aggression'.

I believe that's Cedric the Entertainer.

I thought that but then for some reason i thought he passed away. Then I realized that's Bernie Mac that passed away. Anyhow thank you. My pop culture education is pretty awful.

Finals week usually means a light week for good games.  At least tonight we get Memphis/Bama

After Saturday there is not a lot of action until after the New Year. I know after the 23rd IU has almost two weeks off.

Yea but every HS in the state of Indiana thinks they have to play in a “holiday “ tournament so I’ll spend a few days traveling for that.

Woodson talked about the charity golf tournament he hosted on Sunday in Las Vegas and said the money was donated to the Boys and Girls Club in Las Vegas. The event was sold out and it went “extremely well,” per Woodson. Due to the weather, it only went nine holes.

What order would you place these wins for degree of difficulty:

at home against Ohio State

at home against Marquette

neutral court against Creighton

neutral court against Butler

at Florida

at Nebraska

I ask because these games are against teams that are the lowest quad one games and top quad two games.  By Sagarin ratings, they would have IU:

as a four point favorite hosting Ohio State

as a six point favorite hosting Marquette

as a three point favorite on a neutral court against Creighton

as a five point favorite on a neutral court against Butler

as a two point favorite at Florida

as a five point favorite at Nebraska

Personally, I was a little surprised to see that the predictions were pretty close.  I imagined that the Butler neutral court or at Nebraska would have been the easiest but was surprised at hosting Marquette as being listed as the toughest.

Today is the 45th Anniversary of the plane crash that killed the entire University of Evansville Men's Basketball team. I remember watching news reports on WTWO & WTHI in Terre Haute as a 12 year old.

That was the first year for UE in D1 basketball, having been dominant in D2 for many years, with 5 D2 national championships from the late 50's to early 70's.  The accident occurred shortly after takeoff from the Evansville airport as the team was traveling for a game, taking the lives of all on board, including first year coach Bobby Watson, legendary Evansville sportscaster Marv Bates, and the entire UE basketball squad. Very sad day.

I'm not entirely sure what he was trying to say, but from personal experience, women can get very aggressive. I've been hit, had things thrown at me, and been bitten by women during arguments. I didn't escalate the situation because I knew that was a no win for me. Relationships are difficult. I have two daughters and four granddaughters, so my tolerance for abusive men is pretty low. Every situation has context and sometimes people should just not be together. I would really like to hear from both parties involved before I make any judgement here.
