cbp4iu Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 I don’t know if Wichita State will ever bounce back. Losing to Alcorn State. Marshall did wonders to that program… Crap hit the fan… I don’t think they’ll recover Quote

One of his key transfers is academically ineligible until 2 second semester old target Anthony Harris. Texas St was looking good early. Rhode Island going on a run now only down 4. Great game between 2 evenly matched teams Stuhoo 1 Quote

But Louisville, who were up five with the ball with one minute left, just lost to Wright State on a buzzer beater. Oh Louisville, that was disappointing I bet. Wow just watched the replay of the second half. Brutal ending. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

Sean isn’t the best coach but Sean usually finds a lot of success in the dark arts of recruiting. The FBI sting with Adidas happened at the absolute worst time to know if Archie was going to try the Sean Miller Method. Maybe he wasn’t. He was certainly and plainly trying to secure the state and win with that method. Purdue mostly uses that method to some degree of success (find bigs elsewhere). Butler over the years, the same. Archie should have done better with what he had. And/Or his eye for talent isn’t incredible either. IU/Butler/Notre Dame and HoosierTrav 2 Quote

Archie did great with lower ranked recruits at Dayton. His personality is not wired to be the face of a big program IMO. Quote

Brass Cannon Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 I am skeptical Archie will be successful. He showed me no signs he can build a winning culture. He inherited one at Dayton go iu bb 1 Quote

They were flaming garbage for a majority of last season, got a little hot at the end of the year and got a dream NCAA tourney draw. I get why they got the preseason love, but they’re not impressive to me at all. I agree about playing St. Peter's in the Elite 8 but they did beat Baylor, UCLA, and Duke. Almost Kansas. I think they are good but it's extremely hard to make the National Championship game in back to back years. I know they did it in 16-17. They have a ton of pressure. I don't think they are a very deep team. That is where IU has a huge advantage on a lot of teams. I don't think our next opponent, Xavier, is that deep. Now, I am still scratching my head as to why Gonzaga is #2. Outside of Timmie I'm not impressed with them. Quote
