I have no idea how he would do out there, but recruiting might be a tad easier than at Purdue. The guy can coach! What he's done at Purdue the last few years has been remarkable. I had completely written them off this year and yet, here they are about to share a conference crown. That said, you're probably right about the culture fit.

Could he get 5* to play hard and within his system? That takes a special coach. I think Painter is a good coach but I don’t think he would do well there.

What’s crazy is they are probably on that 2 line with an outside chance of moving up. I would think Smart for sure is done. The thing I think sucks most about all of this is the kids will probably be punished more than the adults outside of the prison sentenced people. Smart could have definitely been a pro prospect next year. I just don’t think he will ever get that chance.

Definitely, I think the adults should be punished more but I doubt the recruits were innocent too. I guess in some cases they could be but come on. I still giggle when I hear puke fans say they’re clean.

I guess the NCAA might finally show puke that they mean business and won’t put up cheating. They plan to do this by sanctioning their closest competition on the recruiting trail and on the court. LSU will get hammered and they hope that puke understands they will punish cheaters. (If it’s not one of the blue bloods)

We want one of them to win it and the other not to get an at large. USPS feels Belmont could get in even if they lose to Murray State in the final.

Murray St isn’t getting an at-large if they don’t win their conference tourney. Belmont would have an outside shot but I wouldn’t feel confident about it
