Stuhoo Posted January 11, 2018 Posted January 11, 2018 Agreed. A story why we shouldn't bash an IU player who leaves earlier than we would have liked. ....and accept a player's mom as valued insight instead of what we did.Troy’s against all odds success is probably largely a product of his Mom’s, ahem... oddities.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Hoosierfan2017, Str8Hoosiers and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 1 Quote

Aaron Posted January 11, 2018 Posted January 11, 2018 Rutgers is going to have to worry about losing Pikiell to a better job (contract extensions mean zero) if he sniffs success. Quote

BH33 Posted January 11, 2018 Posted January 11, 2018 I found this in an article on CBS Sports regarding McKinley Wright. He looks to be a good one. https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/freshman-of-the-week-colorados-mckinley-wright-edges-out-oklahomas-trae-young/ Following Arizona's loss to Colorado, Sean Miller said: "McKinley Wright is one of the most impressive guards we have faced. My brother recruited him and he must be one of the dumbest coaches in college basketball to not have him as part of his program." Iugradman, bleedhoosier and thebigweave 3 Quote

In our last 3 coaching changes I don't recall one instance when our new coach "poached" a player or recruit from his previous program. It's an honorable thing to do, I suppose, but other coaches do it. I'll chalk this up to the old saying "no good deed goes unpunished." cthomas 1 Quote
