Chris Beard named head coach at UNLV about a week ago and apparently has already jumped ship for Tubby Smith's vacant position at Texas Tech.  If true, the UNLV program must be a total cesspool.

I don't blame him the board of regents only approved his contract in a 9-4 vote You would think you would want an unanimous vote. I wouldn't feel to secure going in to that job. Also he was an assistant at tech for 10 years and has 3 daughters that are closer to Lubbock.

When we were hot this past season they got in. It's all about winning and losing. If we're winning, underage get in easy, if losing, not worth getting fined. Example: 2 years ago.

Tremendous talent in this game. DeAaron Fox has a nasty game. Bruce Brown looks really good. Adebayo is like a Dwight Howard type player.

He looked good too, didn't stand out like some of the others though. Was getting his though.

Super athletic UK recruiting class. Question will be, who can knock down shots. Monk and Fox seem streaky. Otherwise most athletic team in country.

Odds are your weekend went better than Keith Appling’s did.

The former Michigan State basketball standout was arrested Sunday night for his actions relating to an incident at a Dearborn, Michigan strip club. Appling, 24, was allegedly inside the Pantheon Club with a fully-loaded AK-47.

I can't really understand how you just get caught with an AK-47. Why would you have an assault rifle in a strip club? Did one of the dancers refuse him?
