LockdownD Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 Great job not calling a timeout and let your stud player finish regulation. Melo's shot just sucked the air out of the Kohl Center. Napleshoosier 1 Quote

rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 Enjoyed the Wiscy--Maryland game. Wish Wiscy could have pulled it out. Melo came up big when it counted. I still think Maryland plays to the level of their competition---we will have a chance to beat them. Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 OT: this is probably an extremely dumb question but anybody know if Troy has enough credits to graduate this year??? Just within the last 24 hours, I read that he did but I'll be damned darned if I can remember where I read it. Napleshoosier 1 Quote

incrediboy Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 I am shocked, stunned, whatever the word is that Wisky played Maryland to such a tight game, even at Madison. Hard for me to believe it because I just don't see talent beyond Nigel and Koenig on that team. I see Happ had 16 and 11 in the box score, which stuns me that he did that against the Terps. Missed the game on TV but have seen most of Georgia Tech's pasting of Virginia, altho UVA has just cut it to 7 with 50 seconds to go. No surprise to me that NW is beating up on Minnesota. Quote

incrediboy Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 Game was in Madison FWIW. I realized and corrected, two of you got posts in before I amended it. I knew it was at Kohl Center, but I figured Maryland would smash the Badgers. Quote

I said at the time I thought it was a bad decision by Minnesota. Also said it was a bad decision for Illinois to trade Bruce Weber for John Groce. So far both predictions are looking good. What I do not understand at all is why Minnesota extended Pitts Jr. last winter after a downturned season and no recruits above 3 stars. IUsafety 1 Quote

TheWatShot Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 SMU is unbeaten…and ineligible for the postseason. If they finish the regular season without a loss, do they take over the '76 Hoosiers' rightful place as the last team to be perfect? Quote

If they finish the regular season without a loss, do they take over the '76 Hoosiers' rightful place as the last team to be perfect?they will lose at Cincinnati, at uconn or even at Houston. They would be like Kentucky last year or Wichita state the year before, they will get credit for the undefeated regular season but didn't complete the task of winning it all. I just don't think they will go undefeated in their conference Quote
