This has to drive Alford crazy. It seems like UCLA just usually doesn't play very hard whether it's under Lavin, Howland, Alford, or whoever. I don't know if it's that laid back California attitude or all the smog or what--but they should NEVER lose to Monmouth at home. Too much Hollywood and not enough grit. On a positive note--Bryce Alford did have 22 points. Still want to see Steve be successful but these kind of losses hurt his rep.  And T.J. Leaf---you stiffed us for this?????

From the 3 too. They shot 21% from three and took 47 threes! That's insane! No player who played more than 15 minutes on Butler had less than double digit scoring, but they also posted zero double doubles. Wow!

 

I hope someone recorded it and is uploading it to the internet. It's going to be fascinating to watch
