Could be recency bias or a “me” thing, but I feel like we finally got out of a weird post-COVID rut of crappy ball and we’re seeing high quality basketball all over the place again. What an excellent champ week.

Was doing some Kenpom research earlier in preparation for my bracket and decided to look at the top offenses of the past few years. Since 2021, the top 5-10 offenses have seen a huge jump in efficiency rating. So basically, scoring is way up.

I'm rooting for Arkansas to beat Vandy. I don't really like Cal at all, but something about Kentucky running him out of town only for him to have more success than Pope at an in-conference school feels like poetic justice.
