Not a ton of games tonight but got 2 big ones

Arizona/Byu

Lousiville/Duke

The second game with Mikel Brown Jr back and playing will be interesting given that Louisville did not have him for the game at home.

Duke up 16 on Louisville early in the second half

Wonder if Khamenia enters the portal after the season and he’s a target for DDV. He was a top recruit, but supposedly (Duke board rumors) his parents weren’t enthused of him picking Duke because they knew he would be coming off the bench. Given the recruiting class coming in for Scheyer, he might still be limited in minutes if he stays.

That game wasn’t really competitive. Most of Lville’s bigger games haven’t been. Even with that talent they kind of look like a slightly improved version of last year’s team.

Honestly, two of Louisville’s best wins in the Pat Kelsey era are neutral site games against Indiana — last year in the Bahamas and this year in Indy. Outside of those two games, they haven’t done much (also beat DDV’s WVU team in the Bahamas and had an early home win against UK). Kelsey is 0-4 against Duke, the only elite team in the ACC over that stretch, and none of the games have been competitive. We really should have been able to go at least 1-1 against Lville & UK this year. Relatedly, OSU is already considered on the right side of the bubble despite them not looking all that great (close win against PSU last night) but they’re 4-6 in quads 1 & 2 with away wins at Northwestern and Oregon and a neutral site win against WVU (and a home win against UCLA) whereas IU stands at 1-7. IU should have more winnable quad 1 and 2 games coming up as the B1G schedule did no favors, but still.

Have the B1G Network on for background noise as I work.

Mike Hall is interviewing Craig Robinson, the NABC director, about Suits and Sneakers Week.

Robinson also happens to be Michelle Obama's brother.

So Hall asks: "I know there's one person everybody wants to ask you about, and while I don't want to follow that path, I'm gonna anyway ... what's your best Bill Carmody story?"

Kinda made me chuckle.
