The dude was literally standing straight up on a jump shot with SGA's foot tapped his leg, and SGA fell to the floor. They called the foul on the defender with him just with his hands up. He didn't touch him outside of the foot tapping his leg. It is getting out of hand kinda like Brunson's dreads go flying when he gets tapped as if he got shot. It is pretty bad. Hate it so much and actually really hate it for what that nonsense is doing to their reputation and legacy. They’re really good and a small market team becoming a monster by just being straight up smarter than everyone else ought to make them crazy easy to root for. Instead, they’re impossible to root for. And it’s not just Shai, it’s obviously cultural. That play the other night with McCain coming to a dead stop in front of Castle was such bull$hit. Not sure I can actually watch a Thunder-Knicks final. J34 1 Quote

Not sure I can actually watch a Thunder-Knicks final. A Knicks/Thunder final would be such a must watch, especially if the Knicks get a questionable whistle in MSG. NBA refs are as confident as sports refs can possibly be, but I'm betting that even they can be influenced by an MSG finals crowd. And fwiw, the cutural floppabilityness of the Thunder is real, but I was fine with McLain feeling someone on his back and putting the brakes on to draw a foul. That time the contact was real and it just seemed like a heady play. jermhoosierfan 1 Quote

It was even headier when he threw a Walter Payton forearm shiver to Harper’s throat before acting like Harper was The Fridge running him over from behind. Pagoda 1 Quote

That was simply a badly missed call—probably a flagrant. Different thing than the flopalopolous monster forgive my mediocre memory; isn’t there currently a “technical foul for flopping” rule in college? Quote

Home Jersey Posted May 29 Posted May 29 They just called a ridiculous foul on Fox after a challenge from OKC. His foot barely grazed Chet's thigh. I don't get it. Basketball is a contact sport. OKC are basketball terrorists and the current NBA product mostly sucks IMO. BtownStrength and fwgreenway 2 Quote

Hali could have gone for 50 on 22-26 shooting and the refs would have stolen Game 7 from the pacers. They had their orders. League is garbage. Just like the refs will ensure the thunder win game 7 of thud series Quote
Stuhoo Posted Sunday at 03:04 AM Posted Sunday at 03:04 AM Wemby is so freaking special. More proof that when one team has one of the three best players on the planet that is 6’4”, it’s better to have one of the three best players on the planet that is 7’3”. Bad news for Wemby tho; because he now has to deal with the one and only, the greatest NBA Hoosier of the past 40 years, the lover of life and cheesecake, my man OG. edit: if OG guards Wemby—and that makes a ton of sense, I have absolutely no idea who Towns could guard on San Antonio. Bad matchups for the Knicks. BtownStrength and Demo 2 Quote
HoosierHoopster Posted Sunday at 03:14 AM Posted Sunday at 03:14 AM Called it, Spurs in 6 or 7 - took them 7 bc of the horrifically obvious “favorable@ Thunder officiating— but the better team won. Wemby is hands down the best player in the League and he’s just getting started. Next up, W over Knicks for the title Quote

There’s no such thing as an actual stopper for the kid, obviously, but OG is about as good a matchup for Wemby as you can have. Side note: I’m trying to think of as stark an example of a player getting in another player’s head as badly as Wemby got into Holmgren’s. The last 2 games he wanted no part of that guy. Quote

Have thought that Okc has by far the best chance to trade for Giannis if they wanted to because they could offer Holmgren, maybe Caruso’s contract and a slew of 1’s and I don’t see who beats that deal without giving up so much that risk Giannis nixing it. But if you’re Milwaukee are you willing to trust that the kid’s not irreparably broken now? Quote
Demo Posted Sunday at 01:43 PM Posted Sunday at 01:43 PM I don’t know if this is true, but if it is that is wild and the kid is amazing. Talking 19th century Latin smack. I promise Holmgren thought it was “You want some more” in French. BtownStrength, Pagoda and LIHoosier 3 Quote
