Painter:  "We'd like to recruit you to come to Purdue University to play basketball and further your education"

Brown:  "Where's Purdue?"
Painter:  "In West Lafayette"

Brown:  "Where's that?"

Painter:  "In Indiana"

Brown:  "Oh yeah, I'm being recruited by them.  Where are you from again?"

Painter:  "Purdue..."

Brown:  "They care about basketball?"

Painter:  "Even during fooball season"  (little devil on his shoulder:  "You mean ONLY during football season, Matt, when they suck in basketball they care about football")

That's because Meyer wants to keep his "I got it right" percentage up, and the only school that Bruce Brown could feasibly commit to for the next week is us.

 

Meyer will switch the CB pick to whichever school a recruit is on an official visit to.

 

That doesn't mean we can't get a verbal this weekend; just that Meyer's switch is likely based solely on the fact that BB is in Bloomington.

I would say no but who knows what a teenager's mind will do on a visit. I would say IU is ahead here, Gtown out, Miami trending out, SMU out. Umass may be in it until the end. Some Purdue interest but IU is ahead so I would say it's possible, but wouldn't predict it.
