Just forget I brought it up, hard to put into words. Obviously when they're ready they'll go, and while they're here they'll have a starting spot. A different perspective/idea rather than transfers I suppose what I was thinking

it doesen't put any pressure on Troy or Yogi because they are going to have their own best interests in mind and Indiana will accommodate them as long as they want to be here. It puts pressure on guys like April, Priller, and Hartman to prove that they deserve to be a part of the rotation and also puts pressure on players like Devin who may desire more minutes or a starting spot and aren't necessarily guaranteed to get it

Definitely agree with you, but as much as I understand those 3 are "guaranteed" a scholarship correct?

If kids do get kicked out for the 15 recruits are they guaranteed 4 year contracts under the new academic guidelines?

If they stay at IU, yes.

In other words; post season convo between player and coaching staff:

Player: "Coach, I really think I can be a starter next year".

Coach: "We don't think you'll even be a rotation player, but you're welcome to stay".

Player: "I will look around for other options".

Otherwise known as "Jurking" a player. Interperet that however your wish.

I know everyone hates the over sign situation and don't bite my head off but.. If we do sign 2-3 guys in this 15 class, does that put any pressure on say Troy or Yogi to feel any pressure at all like it's the right time to leave??
PS: I personally do not think either of them are close to ready, which isn't a knock on them at all.. Yogi's size is an NBA problem and Troy obviously has to improve shooting and defense

Not in the slightest

The more I watch this kid on YouTube videos, the more I want him. He is definitely undersized but he just has that it factor when he makes decisions around the basket.

He's being recruited as a wing, so he's actually got great size.

Picture for reference because none of you guys have seen OG in person. I know how tall Devin is. I know how tall Troy is. Does me no good without someone seeing OG

For real though, sat right next to the basketball team at the football game last weekend, as I always do.

I mean that in the sense that I don't believe for one second he's 6'8"

He is the same size as Juwan Morgan. They guarded each other in the games that they played against each other. Look on the ITH story about OG and look at the picture
