PointBlank Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Down with the DH. I hate the DH, but after watching Price of the Reds manage, I wish we had the DH in order to simplify the game for him. Also, make the headhunters bat, unfortunately, even in the NL many of the headhunters are relief pitchers who never bat. Quote

LIHoosier Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Alex Rodriguez hit his 660th homer last night, tying Willie Mays. In his contract, he's supposed to get $6 mil for reaching that milestone along with other future HR milestones but the Yanks don't want to pay it. Let the muckraking and legal wrangling begin! Quote

Dalton26 Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 I hope they're forced to. It's just like that Sammy Sosa and Mark McGwire crap. Everyone loved them while they were helping baseball's attendance and getting national attention but they turned on them after they were coming to the end of their careers and the steroid crap started. Steroids saved baseball. chicagoHOOSIER, Walking Boot of Doom and Naturalhoosier 3 Quote

Bobman1 Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Rough recent stretch for My Cubs. If only our bullpen wouldn't suck as much as purdue, and our starters were allowed to pitch past the 6th we'd be in pretty good shape. But it is Joe Maddon's team and not mine for a reason. Quote
HoosierRob Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Shelby miller trade looking good for my bravos.. That's stl Quote

Hovadipo Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Anyone see that Kyle Farnsworth is playing semi-pro football now? Heard that this weekend. I loved that guy. Especially when he jacked Pierzinsky (sp?) in a Cubs/Sox brawl. Quote
