IU Hoosier41

(2019) SF Trendon Watford to LSU

Recommended Posts

I agree that Trendon may want to be his own man and I wouldn't blame him as I U fans would have very high expectations.  But for the life of me, I just can't see Kentucky fans showing any love to a player with Watford on the back of his jersey.

I can see that, I also can see UK loving to be able to say they took the "better" Watford from us.

Yes, like when Jordan Crawford was a Hoosier and played against his brother Joe, who played for Kentucky.  There was a chant in AH at the end of the game that Jordan was better.

If T-Wat wants to be a Hoosier he will he knows the staff maybe better than any of the 2018 in-state recruits. I would be baffled if he didn't know he could be a Hoosier. The only thing I could think of why he wouldn't be a Hoosier is the distance. His parents traveled to a ton of CWat's games and they might not want to do that again.

#OTRHoopsReport: USA Basketball Mini Camp Underclassmen Recap – Oct 12, 2016

On the Radar

At 6-foot-8, Trendon Watford is a good all-around player that is effective getting to the basket off the dribble. He can knock down a three point shot and has a great feel for getting into the lane and finishing with a pull up jumper or at the rim. He can play all over the floor and has the ability to defend multiple positions.

That's the last IU game I've been to.  It was awesome!

I told him to we need to get his brother to IU. His reaction didn't convince me. He said, I don't know about that and chuckled. Said, we'll see. It was his look when saying this.

Could have said a lot of things. Anything to inspire hope.

Things didn't turn out the way CWat hoped professionally. It's not IUs fault, but Trendon will go to a NBA factory if he can. Same is true with most of the higher rated kids.

That's one pretty clairvoyant read-in, doc.
