Texas playing blocking TKR out never even went up.

That's because TKR had his elbow in his back and had pushed him all the way under the bucket.

Am I crazy or does Arkansas feel like a worse matchup for Purdue than Arizona would be?

You may be right. I don't think they've got a great shot against either team.

Iowa fans must be rooting like hell for Illinois.

Umm is this Ben McCollum's ceiling? Aha... (trying not to cry)

Two things:

1) Can someone tell Ben it's supposed to take 4+ years?

2) Do you think with some of his tournament money, he can buy a shirt that fits?

I'd say you're crazy.  Arkansas' defense ranks 14th of the sweet 16 (53rd overall)

Purdue would not be able to handle their athleticism and they wouldn't be able to out muscle them nearly as easily as Texas IMO. Arkansas playing at their best can definitely beat Purdue playing at their best IMO.

I think Houston is a better matchup. But Illinois should whip Houston. If they don’t Underwood officially gets the “underperforms in the tourney tag.”

Arizona has a 7'2", 260 pound center that won't be pushed around.  Have five players who averaged double figures and seven players who averaged 8.8 or more.

Texas was 16th, I think.

I love everything about Arizona though, except that their two best players are freshman.

Fair I wasn't accounting for the "better odds than Arizona" part of the post

+1 .

I think Iowa matches better with Houston than Illinois.  Both Iowa and Houston play incredibly slow paced ball -- Houston 361st, Iowa 351st.  I think the fewer the possessions, the better the chance Iowa has.

Besides, I have Illinois in my final four bracket and I need the points.

You're probably right to be honest on both points. Do think there's something to be said about playing a team you're familiar with already, but the matchup is much more important.

Wonder if Sampson can put Underwoodivic in a blender
