Got to have collective bargaining and a union to bargain with. With players staying only 1-5 years, where does the continuity come from to collectively bargain? Does the NBA player association step in? To collectively bargain the schools will have to recognize the players as employees, which at this point they refuse to do.

He has a good approach to the portal.   He brought Henderson with him from Duke.  He decommitted and followed him to Miami.  He was a shark recruiter so he will be a hit with the recruits.    He wants to build from high school kids but in the portal is focused on local kids that went elsewhere and want to come back home.   Thinks with those kids even if it’s for 1 year they will have pride for the program.  Malik, Donaldson, and Edeh, Marcus Allen all kids from Miami or the state of Florida

He’s had a fair amount of good athletes during his tenure.

Not really.  They started out 20-0 and then were 6-6 in their next 12.  In conference went from 8-0 to 14-6.

On paper Purdue has been gift-wrapped a path to the Elite 8, but removing my hater glasses as much as possible I could still see Texas’ length and athleticism giving them a ton of problems. Plus, Texas is kinda on a roll.

Definitely think Texas was the harder matchup for them instead of the Zags.   Was something off about that Zags team all year

I had this exact same thought. I know we are all biased here, but as an average fan looking at them it’s laughable how whiney they are.
