Home Jersey Posted Sunday at 12:32 AM Posted Sunday at 12:32 AM This result confirms that the OSOC (one seed or Connecticut) model will be accurate for an 18th straight year I believe JF87 1 Quote
Jeff Flabjohns Posted Sunday at 12:32 AM Posted Sunday at 12:32 AM One game away from a third chip. In this day and age…just crazy. Right up there with guiding IUFB to an undefeated title. Will never again question the sideline antics. He’s a savant. Smart, consistently never satisfied. I fear Dusty is of a similar mold… FortWayneHoosier and NVFalcons1990 2 Quote
Jeff Flabjohns Posted Sunday at 12:35 AM Posted Sunday at 12:35 AM But can’t forget it took yet another Jon Scheyer choke for Hurley to be here again. Quote
BA47591 Posted Sunday at 12:36 AM Posted Sunday at 12:36 AM Stings a bit. I don't know if Dusty would've taken the IU job over Michigan. Where we're at currently and seeing multiple instate players in the final 4 stings. Quote
FortWayneHoosier Posted Sunday at 12:41 AM Posted Sunday at 12:41 AM Gotta give it to Hurley, the dude has done what most schools or coaches will never do. Dude just flat out assembles a team and gets them all on board, and they win. OliviaPope40, WayneFleekHoosier, Home Jersey and 2 others 5 Quote

One or two loose screws that can lead to an unrelenting belief, buy-in and will. I tip my cap… OliviaPope40, FortWayneHoosier, str8baller and 1 other 4 Quote
Alford Bailey Posted Sunday at 12:55 AM Posted Sunday at 12:55 AM Great season by Illinois. Extremely talented team maybe only lacking a dominant point guard. UConn will win it Monday night. Probably Hurley’s best coaching job to date. They are just tougher than anyone else right now. FortWayneHoosier 1 Quote

I think they have a better shot against Arizona than Michigan. Tough to bet against UConn though. Should be a fun game either way. Quote

They were lucky to hang on despite the number of fouls they had and abysmal shooting from Illinois. The last two games, while impressive, didn't demonstrate a team fully capable of beating either Michigan or Arizona. I'll be there Monday night so I can eat crow on the spot if need be, however that will be secondary to the pill I'll have to swallow all over again while watching the Buckner-Woodson Fail Bowl unfold right in front of my eyes as May and Mullins are on each side of the ball for a national title.
