Popular Post HoosierHoopster Posted February 4 Popular Post Posted February 4 Couple post-game thoughts. We drew to within 2 in the closing minute or so but couldn't finish, on the road following the big W against UCLA and despite Dorn not being able to hit (gotta give some credit to USC's perimeter D, it's solid). Regardless of the result, we look like a legit team over the past 4 games. I have some cautious optimism going forward. IUHoosier5, Hollywood Mike Miranda, Home Jersey and 7 others 10 Quote

I also heard a lot of guys had the flu on this trip. So, that's some rationalization to take or leave... JF87, hoosierfan6157, Alford Bailey and 2 others 4 1 Quote
iu2win Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I'm a traditional unis type of guy and I love that Cig didn't mess with the standard IU football uniforms (with the caveat that the block "I" is truly the tradition in football I suppose). Still, DD messing around with black unis is a distraction from the traditional power that "was" Indiana basketball during the glory years. I see it similar to the IU Oval in football during the Antwaan days. Also, reminds me of Nebraska wearing the black unis and getting it handed to them by Tom Allen's Hoosiers in their own stadium. Stick to tradition and leave the ugly black to the Toiletmakers. Mopladysman, Silat Player, J34 and 1 other 3 1 Quote

OliviaPope40 Posted February 4 Posted February 4 At this point can we get Cig to coach and see if some of the football team can shoot some hoops. Quote

Howver, again last night he stuffed the non-scoring stat sheet: 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals. Props to him for continuing to battle really hard even though his scoring is kinda broken. Quote

He usually only comes off in pure bench unit mins and our bench is hot garbage, which is what I think drives most of this. if you want another good example of that phenomenon you can find fletcher loyers name on this. Not all stats are perfect. With that said, I have defended him the last few games and in this thread because he’s been willing to do a lot of the small things that contribute to winning. Would’ve been extra nice to take the sweep, and we could have. But we also could’ve lost the UCLA game. So it kind of evens out. HoosierHoopster and Home Jersey 2 Quote

Stick to tradition and leave the ugly black to the Toiletmakers. We wore the black last year, so this isn't a DeVries thing. If I remember correctly, the players liked the black uniforms last year. I do prefer the red road and home white uniforms. However, throw out tradition and give me names on back of the jersey if 50% + of the roster is going to change each year. Quote
