Indiana opens as a 30.5-point favorites against Wisconsin this weekend, per @BetMGM.

Our undefeated Hoosiers host Wisky (3-6) (1-5) and 0-3 on the road.  Televised on basic BTN.  After this game, we have a bye week and on Friday night the 28th we embarrass PUke at West Laffy.

I know the weather was bad last weekend in Wisconsin, but their leading passer was their kicker with 24 yards on a fake!

Their two very good defensive performances were in bad conditions.  Fortunately, the weather looks decent for our game this week (knock on wood).  Their defense may slow us down some, it's a solid unit, but they're gonna have to figure out something on offense to make this a game...

The spread is nuts.  Last year the PU game was -29.5.  Depending how the line moves this could be our largest P4 spread ever if I had to guess.  Doesn't really matter though.

Anyways, it's nice to be back home and hopefully no injuries this weekend.

This sure seems more likely to be a 27-3 IU win than another 56-6 game.

Wisconsin is a hot, injury-depleted mess at RB, and especially at QB.

We will likely face their third string QB, a freshman, who will be backed up by an untalented fourth string senior.

Seems likely that a delicious feast for our defense will be served.

A few nuggests from today's presser from Cig

Indiana LG Drew Evans will be "a few more weeks" as he aims to return from injury.

LG Adedamola Ajani got the start over Zen Michalski because Michalski got banged up in practice. Michalski was able to play, but Cignetti stuck with Ajani because he got the reps in practice during the week.

Cignetti: "I did get a little choked up there at the end, just because I was so proud of our guys."  Cignetti says emotion also came from his memories of State College through his dad: "My first time in that stadium was 1971, and I was back in that stadium every two years for 15, 16 years. I can tell you a lot of long rides home, and not a lot of happy rides home."

"Sarratt is day-to-day right now..." will know more as week goes on.

Reasonable to assume that Sarratt will again not play, which plus the bye week should have him fully recovered for Puredoo.

I can understand that.  Those childhood memories come rushing back thinking back to his father which happens to me sometimes when I find something in the garage of his or my mother's.  I just don't get a chance to show it on a major television network.

Wisconsin’s only two choices at QB for this weekend?

This guy:

https://www.espn.com/college-football/player/_/id/4878912/hunter-simmons

But that guy has been so, so bad in his four years at Wisconsin, that it is more likely to be this (QB rating 30.6) true freshman:

OH THE HUMANITY!!

2 things here: 1) Yeah, if you’re fortunate enough to see this team live, hang until the end and cheer the living hell out of them because this is just insanity and nobody in IUFB history has experienced anything remotely like it and, 2) It’s Fisch. Nobody says no to Fisch.

And be the 1st IU fans to ever witness an 11-0 team

Wisconsin have been used to playing good teams all year and just like PSU, they'll give us their best. Playing home is a big time bonus.

Wisconsin has scored a TOTAL of 54 points in their seven games against P4 teams. That’s an average of about 7.5 points per game.

Their defense is solid; probably even above average for a P4 team, but we would have to score about two touchdowns less than our worst performance of the year to make this a close one. And it’s going to be played in excellent conditions.
