IU wins! Baylor missed 3 point attempt at last second

Kids fought hard.  Credit for that. Free Throws, hustle, and playing for each other stick out.  
 

Some big deficieices acknowledged. We played to win but it looked like Baylor did too.  Refs seemed generous to us imo.  Fun 2 hours or ball.

We kinda knew Tucker and Wilkerson would be the main guys on this team. 

I really like what we saw today from Conerway, Enright, and Alexis.

But

This team shot 25% from 3 and found a way to beat Baylor (#17 in KenPom) in a game where both teams were competing til the end.

I'm excited to see what Dorn can add. Also looking forward to Alex, Drake, and Harris getting healthy so we have real depth. 

We will probably drop some frustrating games this year but I think it's going to be the most fun season of IUBB in a while.

Sam had a really rough first ten minutes. After that he was pretty solid.

Baylor killed us on the boards - we lost that by 19.

It's an exhibition. Said I'm not going to read too much into the W or L result. But was looking for how we'd play and what DeVries would do to make adjustments. The turnaround from early first half play was some really promising stuff and the coaching is just worlds apart from the joke of what we've had. Sam impressed me, Wilkerson and Tucker are our best players and played like it, Conerway's assists are fun to watch. I'm going to like watching this team grow. We'll make the tourney, the coaching will get us there

Defensive rebounding needs to improve 

Finishing at the rim may not be a strong point for this team. 

But

These guys play their butts off and are fun to watch. No quit in them.
