I’m hoping we get to see Dorn play in this one. Is one of the recent promo videos put out by IU, you could see him shooting over a defender. It has hard to tell if it was just a drill or if he participating in a scrimmage. My original thought was drill, but I could be wrong.

I'm assuming we start the same lineup as Puerto Rico? Enright, Conerway, Wilkerson, DeVries, Bailey.   I'm going to have to have the roster pulled up on my phone to try to learn the new players!!!

Yeah, there needs to be some kind of award for the 1st one who came name the entire team from headshots only.

DDV Zoom meeting with the media today - The following is from various X accounts.

Nick Dorn (foot): Starting to work his way back in some action, not expected to play in Friday's exhibition, probably doubtful for Baylor exhibition, but is making good progress, per coach Darian DeVries.

Says team is a lot more connected defensively since they played in Puerto Rico.  Also says wants ball movement on offense. IU had 31 assists to 3 turnovers in a recent practice.

Says Aleksa Ristic and Jason Drake will both be out when the season begins.  This will likely keep the early rotation down to 7-8 players, will go up to 9-10 once they are back, DeVries says.

DeVries says most of their offensive and defensive install is in, now it's a matter of tweaking things based on how they are guarded and adding new wrinkles.

Darian DeVries said that he likes the lineup of Reed Bailey and Sam Alexis, but have been limited in using it in the summer due to lack of depth. Said he would love to use it this season when there is an opportunity to.

Darian DeVries what he's seen & learned from Curt Cignetti: "We've used football as a reference for why they're good ... we want to be elite in not turning it over ... elite in our discipline ... elite in our toughness."

I spent like 5 minutes trying to post just their headshots for the fun of it, and when I pasted it listed their names. Lol, deleted.

Game day. Just about 12 hours til tip off.

3 injuries at the start of the year is less than ideal. Probably won't see as many lineups as you normally would in an exhibition against Marian. Expect we'll see a lot of Bailey and Alexis together since they haven't been able to practice a ton with that lineup.

Cant wait for the DDV era to officially start.

What a whirlwind of a week! Last Saturday magnificent, congrats to Coach Cig, and holy crap there’s a basketball game! On my way to Btown to take my mind off getting my last paycheck until our esteemed elected officials uncork their heads out of their a$$es and decide to open the government back up! If it doesn’t happen sooner than later, I will likely have some tix to offer, if anyone is interested!
