Top 20 ATH out of New Palestine, IN

According to On3, it looks like he's being recruited as a TE/LB.

Oh good lord - a top 350 in-state player should be 100% a Hoosier given the program circumstances.

We'll see. Money talks. Not that any of this matters but his high school coach is also a UNC grad from Ohio.

Hmm…

It absolutely kills me that, even after winning the national freakin’ title, Cig is still rocking the 24-25 CFP 1/4 zip.

I think we're learning on the fly that "in state" doesn't carry the weight it once did.

Listed as "Athlete." Often that designation is for undersized guys.

Mason Ogelsby is 6'4", 220. So Tight End or edge DE size.

We'll see, but he has a preference:

"The most important things in my recruitment are a stable coaching staff, winning program, offensive schemes that fit my skill set, and a good development program," Oglesby said.

So he is

  • A tight end (with a ton of well-regarded TE prospects recently added) or
  • He drops 10 pounds to play WR, or
  • He gains 75 lbs and plays O Line?

He's 100% a tight end if he stays on that side of the ball.
