Based on Fickells performance as the interim OSU coach and then the Cincinnati HC I thought he was a home run hire for Wisconsin. You just never know. MemphisHoosier 1 Quote

You just never know. There is a correlation with Bob Bostad not being a Wisconsin coach. During his tenure there, every big boy O-line prospect became a Badger. They even stole Joe Tippman, starting Jets center, and from my high school, FWBD. Now that he’s the Hoosiers’ O-line coach the quality of athletes, the quality of performance, has improved dramatically. Wisconsin no longer has the talent to dominate the run game. Lebowski Posted November 4 Author Posted November 4 Game 9 in the books. IUFB 55 Maryland 10 Injuries. We got key players banged up. No Fisher, Sarratt, Franke, and Evans for this game. That didn't stop the Hoosiers from putting the beat down. Good to see the back-ups step up. Next game: At Penn State ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
Hovadipo Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Stadium beer sales data courtesy of Matt Brown who runs the Extra Points newsletter. Averaging over a beer and a half sold per seat is punching in an elite beer-drinking weight class. We're leaving revenue on the table imo. When they jack my season ticket prices up and force me to make another non-deductible donation (typing that made me vomit. Call it a PSL or even just call it a fee; don't piss on my shoes and tell me it's raining), I'll simply ask why they can't charge Big House beer prices to carry some of the load. Pagoda 1 Quote

Ha, I was about to post this. Adjusting for stadium size I’m pretty impressed. Quote

Believe that puts us in the top-3 and if you go by actual attendance, probably higher. Should get new data later this year because this is only for August and September. Pagoda 1 Quote

Magnanimous Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Can’t wait to hear Joey Galloway, aka “please bench Kurtis Rourke against my team” guy, spin IU’s ranking. He had us fourth on Herbstreit’s podcast this week. Quote
Pagoda Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Committee respects Iowa at #20! I love hearing how playing us close at home was a positive. Oregon only #9. IU #2. go iu bb and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote
