I wasn't sure where to post this. Believe it or not, it's related to IUFB because she has fully supported the program. I am going to restrain from my personal opinion on the matter due to the political nature. From an IU athletic department point of view, if she is fired, it has potential to be a devastating hit to the football program.

I would disagree that it would be devastating to the football program.  It would only be devastating if a new president failed to support a program that is surging, something that I don’t see happening given the $ it is bringing in.

What a train wreck she has been and allowing the Governor to remove the voice of the people to the Trustees and bring politics into it has been.

Wipe it all clean and make it about academics and self governance instead of the politics that have tyrannically taken over our University

I thought we weren’t going to let this get political………

I hear ya Nips, and I'm with you in theory. But to say that this matter categorizes as political isn't much of a strong political opinion.

What did she allegedly plagiarize?

Portions of her doctoral dissertation written in 1996. This is old / non news, here is a non-paywall article: https://www.chronicle.com/article/that-is-plagiarism-indiana-u-presidents-dissertation-contains-copied-language

Perhaps a spat between Braun and Whitten or something. As I said, don't know the dynamic of current Indiana state politics.

I hope you're right. IUFB has never had this much support from the very top. She's a pioneer in that way and so far is an integral part to the equation of success.

Luckily I'd say there's no need to be too hopeful. There's basically 0 chance any action gets taken because of these allegations IMO

Since Gov. Braun has been running things there have been some major changes regarding his power. He's able to remove and appoint IU Board of Trustees members. So far he's replaced 6 trustees with 6 conservatives. He's also been on record saying he wished IU is better aligned with what the school up north (lost to IUFB 66-0) was doing. Braun is a school up north (lost to IUFB 66-0) grad. He's got a lot of power at the moment. Just google "braun iu trustees" if you want to learn a little more about the current state of things.

Just a friendly reminder, IUFB, 66-0.

Wait, I'm a little confused. Are you referring to the game during which we ran a successful fake punt to our fav defensive lineman while up 38-0?

Hey can you help me out with this screenshot? Under the school names, there are two numbers separated by a hyphen. Purdue's starts with 1 followed by a 10 and then under Indiana, it's 10 followed by 1. Why are they backwards?

I don't see the hyphen. Maybe the score is Purdue 110, Indiana 101.

Wow. Purdue's offense must have been very good last season. Can you confirm?
