(2025) - G Aleksa Ristic to Indiana

The Serbian team made a valiant effort down 73-60 with 5:24 remaining but came up short losing 85-78 to the Italian squad.  Ristic played 36 min. and scored 8 pts on 3-11 FG; 1-5 on 3s; 1-2 FT; 4r; 7a; 5t.  One more game tomorrow and then he can get head to Bloomington.

Pavle Nikolic put up 21 points and 5 rebounds;  has now averaged 16.7 pts and 7.2 rebounds for the tournament.

Would love him to be scholly #13.

Would love him to be scholly #13.

Nikolic put up 16 points and 2 rebounds, ended up averaging 16.6 pts and 6.4 rebounds in the tournament, leading Serbia in both categories.  Shot over 50% from the field and was 8 of 19 from three.

So excited for these international players since they have done well recently in the NBA and college game. When did we last have a European player at IU? I may be too young (or too drunk atm) to remember

Uwe Blabb, Magnus Pelkowski, Haris Mujicenovic (sp) come to mind.

Guy Mark-michel (or whatever) was french i believe, but terrible. Muzjinivic was the last decent euro I remember.
