The peegs guys are saying that the OV went very well. Both Ethan and his parents left feeling very impressed. They say the visit solidified IU as a legit contender to land him.

IU might be helped by Davion Adkins being a strong Kansas lean.

For now yes, never underestimate a KU (hometown) visit though. Adkins being a strong lean there helps kill that blow though.

Cancelled his UK visit, per the UK On3 dude. Certainly sounds like IU/MSU at this point. Assume this will rap pretty quickly.

Wouldn’t think that will have that much to do with it. Taylor and Medlock are both 1st year Link Academy kids. Taylor’s from Kansas and Medlock’s from Michigan. Taylor was Nike and Medlock was Adidas. Doubt if they even knew each other 3 months ago. Imagine if he picks MSU it’ll be because Izzo’s Izzo.

Has all the feels of MSU.  Probably why we are still trying hard with Diane. Hopefully we get Allmond. Feel good about that one. Don’t feel good about Taylor or Diane.

Nah...maybe so, but it's never as simple as "I had a great, great visit." Especially with agents and NIL involved.

The portion of the interview that felt different was about the long relationship with Izzo and between Izzo and his parents, but you may be right that that’s just part of the “nice visit” routine

I have only watched the first few minutes but they said a MSU insider said nothing is a done deal. They said IU has a price they aren't willing to pay and if the price for Almond is correct it could  be 1.5 million. To me that is to high to pay for a high school player who isn't a top 10 player
