Yup, been a minute since a kid has seemed as genuinely excited about committing to IU, and, yes, he seems to be graciously acknowledging all of the good will. Sign of good parenting. 1 side note: I may simply be too old at this point to ever get my mind around a 17 yo referring to a college HC as DRock, which Moody’s done a bunch, but clearly it’s affectionate and respectful so I just need to get over it.
