Dauster’s thoughts on this year’s team right now. He is exactly where I am. Wilkerson was my favorite guy in the portal before IU was even on him. Love him. Would be willing to bet that he and Devries will be the highest scoring duo in the B1G this year.

I am so ready to see a good modern team play with Indiana on their uniforms while raining down 3s.

Given our consistent trend of underperforming preseason projections, I like that people are sleeping on this team a bit. Hopefully coach got guys with the right type of character who believe they can compete for a B1G title regardless of what the pundits think.

Has an overseas trip been confirmed yet?  If so, where and when?  A preseason trip could be a great way to get a completely new team and new coach time to gel.

Not to be anal, but if PR is a US territory, how can this be an international trip?

Looks like we will see how we handle height early. This looks like very solid competition. Their C was in last year's NBA draft but withdrew. Of note, Jokic played for them before coming to the NBA. Haven't dug too deep but their current roster seems plenty talented. PR All-Star team I imagine will be pretty good comp too.

The NCAA used AI to define international, no doubt. /snark

 The benefits outweigh the probably intentional sloppy definition of international. 

The border of the USA, to the NCAA and to some others, does not include territories of the USA.  They could have added a clarification phrase to the rule.  Seems they did by interpreting it this way.

Valid point about tongue in cheek not being recognized.

Learned in writing class in high school that sarcasm doesn't work in the written word.  That is why when lacking placement of emojis, one uses /s.  

I thought that the previous text was being taken much too seriously.  But thought it might be trying to be funny.  That is why I started my text with snark.  And then continued my comment by being quite droll.

Which could easily be taken much too seriously. /s

 

Now back to our regularly scheduled waste of time before they roll the ball out or the world changes for the better.

Looked a little more closely. This roster is as of 4/15/25. Would assume the guys committed to college teams won't be with them in August... but this seems like a pretty good club. In addition to the guys below, they've got about 4 or 5 guys with really solid performance in international games. 

• Timotej Malovec: Committed to Miami (FL)
• Mikhail Petrovic: Committed to Illinois 
• Filip Jovic: Being recruited by Wisconsin 
• Andrija Jelavic: Committed to Kentucky 
• Bogoliijub Markovic: Top prospect in Adriatic League
