Jealous. Duke has had such a phenomenal year. Heard Duke paid Flagg 4.5M this season? You believe that? Probably solid ROI. Lol

I hate it’s 4 1’s left but these matchups are insane. Should be good theatre.

This could be the greatest Duke team of my lifetime if they finish the job. I wouldn’t be shocked if that was the number but he was worth every penny. They are super tight knit. I don’t see Houston beating them but Auburn or Florida will be a really good game.

So you must be pretty young then because the 91-92 team is a lot better than this team

It’s only the second time ever for all four #1 seeds to make the FF. The only other time was 2008.

I saw that stat Sunday and that blew my mind! I would’ve guessed it happened 7-10 times. Is that only since 64 teams though?

For the first 39 years of the tournament, there was no seeding. Seeding wasn't introduced until the 1978 tournament, which was the last tournament that was limited to 32 teams. For this tournament, teams with automatic bids and at-large teams were seeded separately.

In the 1979 tournament, teams were seeded 1-10 in each regional bracket, and the 1979 tournament was the only one to feature 40 teams.

In 1980 the tournament was expanded to 48 teams, and teams were seeded 1-12 in each geographic bracket. This continued until 1985 when the tournament was expanded to 64 teams, and eliminated byes for the top seeded teams.

In 2008, for the first time in tournament history, all four #1 seeds (UNC, Kansas, Memphix and UCLA) reached the Final Four. This year, all four #1 seeds (Auburn, Florida, Duke and Houston) reached the Final Four for only the second time in tournament history.

I’m heading down Friday can’t miss this final four

I really want to go next year in Indy. Even if the seats aren't the best, I think it would be awesome to go up on a Friday. You probably run into all kinds of Big names in college hoops.

It is definitely worth going. I’ve sat up high it’s really not terrible! My favorite sporting event in the world.

Just watch the original Bad News Bears, which then was PG - perfect look at how we grew up in the 70s. That film couldn’t be rated today lol

It was such a a simpler time with no stresses. Was talking about this at work the other day about what it was like it was in the 80's on summer break in a small town. You were outside all day and didn't come back until dinner time and then go back out until dark. It is a shame that kids today don't have that luxury because the world is a too dangerous place.

From a statistical crime perspective the US is much safer than it was in the early 80’s. Not even close.

Back then you heard about crime during a 30 minute news show or by reading a newspaper article. These days negative reporting is 24 hours a day on tv and social media.

Seriously, take a few minutes and look at early 80’s crime statistics vs now.

and it's obvious kids are locked in on their screens and totally entertained..the lack of problem solving and creativity without an electronic device is stunning sometimes as a long time teacher...
