Or he wanted his two leaders spread out to mentor other players instead of being right next to each other? I mean jeez there’s numerous reasons why this move could have been prompted. Pretty alarming that a low level staffer would risk his job over a simple request over something so trivial. Do you think Trey and Leal are giving each other wet willies in the locker room instead of watching film? The most likely explanation is the obvious one, but your blind devotion to the fearless leader prevents you from considering it. AZ Hoosier and Home Jersey 1 1

When you're at that age in the business, you do what you're told, period. He just got a decent title this year and he probably made around 40-45K or so. At this point, you work your way up, not put yourself in a position to be let go at a P4 program. Getting fired during the season is not a good look. As for Woodson, we all know he's petty from an outsiders perspective, it's not too shocking. At least this is a football school now. He moved Leal's locker away from Galloway eventually. He just didn't think it was on top of his to-do list. Two 6th year seniors who Woody begged to come back and paid them a lot of money should be able to handle having their lockers close by. Pretty much everyone on staff agreed with Howard I know that. But sometimes Woody has to be Woody AZ Hoosier and Banksyrules 2

If you were 23-24 and fresh in the corporate world and your boss told you to go pick up the documents he sent to the printer and you told him, "that's not my job"...what the hell do you think would happen?

Coach Robby Posted November 11, 2024 Posted November 11, 2024 I´m not picking sides (ultimately doesn´t matter) but if we´re talking about separating teammates´ lockers? Thatś something you do in high school, not with NIL college athletes. I´m sorry, but I don´t buy that reason, like at all. If it is true, it´s extremely childish. The recruiting discussions would carry a lot more weight and make much, much more sense...

I don't really care what Leal and Galloway were doing, that's not my job to worry about. Just find it hilarious that so many are defending a low level employee who was fired for clearly being insubordinate. Guess I can't say I'm shocked though.

Especially since it wasn't like their was a team fight or anything like that.

If Woodson wants to fire every person who questions every moronic decision he makes then that’s fine. If he wants to surround himself with yes men as he has, that’s his decision to make. Hopefully he will not be making those decisions as coach of the IU basketball team for much longer. Ryno6284, Silat Player and Banksyrules 3

Who said it wasn't petty? But disobeying your boss, especially over something so trivial, is going to get you fired more times than not...especially when your job level is a low as Adam Howard's.
